Chrysler Group LLC today announced the "Minivan Pledge" in which consumers trading in a competitive vehicle for the purchase of a new 2010 model year Dodge Grand Caravan or Chrysler Town & Country minivan can return the vehicle, no questions asked, within 60 days if they aren't happy with the vehicle.
"The Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country have been purchased by more customers than any other minivan, and we want new buyers to see why," said Fred Diaz, President and Chief Executive Officer-Ram Brand and Lead Executive for the Sales Organization, Chrysler Group LLC. "Roughly 67 percent of our minivan buyers are previous owners, and the Chrysler Town & Country has won the R.L. Polk Owner Loyalty award in the minivan category nine years in a row. That's a testimonial that is earned by building the best minivan year in and year out," Diaz said.
Effective today and valid until March 31, consumers who trade in a competitive vehicle qualify for the "Minivan Pledge." If a customer isn't completely happy with the purchase of their 2010 model year Dodge Grand Caravan or Chrysler Town & Country minivan, they can return the vehicle to the selling dealer, no questions asked. Consumers should see their participating local Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge and Ram Truck dealer for full program rules.
"Chrysler Group is confident we have the best minivans in the marketplace and are promising customers if they don't think their minivan is great, we will take it back," said Diaz. "Once a customer buys a Chrysler Town & Country or Dodge Grand Caravan minivan, they love it. The 'Minivan Pledge' gives consumers peace of mind to know they purchased the best minivan for their families."
A nicely equipped 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SE has a starting U.S. manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $23,995, including the $820 destination fee. The 2010 Chrysler Town & Country LX has a starting U.S. MSRP of $26,745, including the $820 destination fee.

Chrysler Group LLC announced today that the 2010 Chrysler Sebring and 2010 Dodge Avenger, with ESC, have earned the 2009 Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
"We are proud to receive the highest possible ratings from IIHS for the Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger," said Scott Kunselman, Senior Vice President - Engineering, Chrysler Group LLC. "These sought-after achievements highlight Chrysler's leadership in safety and security technology and occupant protection."
When it comes to safety and security, the 2010 Chrysler Sebring and 2010 Dodge Avenger employ a two-fold approach: passive features, including pre-tensioning seat belt retractors and supplemental side-curtain air bags, are combined with accident-avoidance features, including responsive steering, braking, handling and Electronic Stability Control (ESC).
"A vehicle that earns the Top Safety Pick designation provides the best overall protection in the three most common kinds of crashes," said Adrian Lund, President - Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. "Top-level crash-test performance plus electronic stability control to help keep drivers out of crashes are the tough criteria needed to earn this award."
Available safety equipment on the 2010 Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger includes ESC with traction control, Brake Assist and ABS, driver and front-passenger active head restraints, front seat-mounted side airbags and advanced multi-stage front airbags. The two vehicles also are equipped with Lower Anchors and Tethers for CHildren (LATCH) for child safety seats.

Auburn Hills, Mich., Nov 18, 2009 -
Four Chrysler Group LLC vehicles have earned 2010 Top Safety Pick Status. Chrysler Group announced today that the 2010 Dodge Journey, the 2010 Chrysler Sebring when equipped with available Electronic Stability Control (ESC), the 2010 Dodge Avenger when equipped with available ESC and the 2010 Jeep® Patriot with available seat mounted air bag, are 2010 Top Safety Picks according to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).
The Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Avenger and Dodge Journey have been awarded IIHS Top Safety Picks for both the 2009 and 2010 model years. The 2010 Jeep Patriot joins the trio in the highest possible rating from the nonprofit research organization.
For the 2010 model year, Chrysler Group products comprise almost 15 percent of the total vehicles awarded Top Safety Pick status by the IIHS to automakers. The award recognizes automobiles with ESC that perform well in the Institute's front-impact, side-impact, rear-impact and new for 2010, roof-strength evaluations.
"With the addition of the Jeep® Patriot, Chrysler Group has received four Top Safety Picks in the 2010 model year-a great accomplishment for our company," said Scott Kunselman, Senior Vice President-Engineering, Chrysler Group LLC. "IIHS' recognition of our products underscores Chrysler Group's engineering capability and leadership in occupant protection."
The 2010 Jeep® Patriot, 2010 Chrysler Sebring, 2010 Dodge Avenger and 2010 Dodge Journey encompass a two-fold approach to safety-passive features combined with accident-avoidance features. Available safety and security features on all four vehicles include ESC with traction control, Brake Assist and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), driver and front-passenger active head restraints, front seat-mounted side airbags and advanced multi-stage front airbags.
"Chrysler showed the most improvement of any automaker for 2010," said IIHS President Adrian Lund. "These Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge models are part of an elite group that afford the best overall crash protection and have electronic stability control, which can help keep drivers out of crashes altogether."
Chrysler Group's four Top Safety Picks all feature the company's new active head restraint system for front-seat occupants. This new system augments the head restraints ability to minimize neck injuries caused by rear-impact accidents. In the event of a rear impact, the head restraints deploy to remove the space between the occupants head and the restraint to help minimize whiplash type injuries.
